By: Brittney St. Pierre

Human Resources Administrative Assistant Beth Dupre, Commercial Analyst Brittney St. Pierre, Talent Acquisition Lead Lee Rea, and Project Manager Supervisor Seth Guidry recently attended the LSU Career Expo to begin recruiting for Danos’ 2018 Summer Internship Program. The students were excited about our intern opportunities with many applying for the positions prior to the expo. Recruiting efforts will continue at both the Nicholls State University (date TBA) and University of Lafayette (Feb. 27 and 28) job fairs.

Internships are available in the following departments:

  • Information Technology
  • Human Resources
  • Purchasing
  • Project Management
  • Safety
  • Marketing
  • Training

Each intern will be assigned a mentor and given a specific project to complete and present to Danos management in addition to many planned activities both in and outside of their department. The 8-week program is scheduled to start in early June.

The Danos internship program’s mission is to further develop Danos employees and provide students in the community with the opportunity to participate in a program that provides development skills in the corporate environment. Objectives include developing management skills, collaborative work efforts, and people skills.

Do you know someone interested in an internship? Have them apply at www.danos.com/intern and on their university career center website. It’s sure to be a great summer!
