A Valuable Employee in Terry Palmer

By: Matt Schexnayder

Terry Palmer, Danos logistics coordinator on Shell’s Olympus platform, was praised by the offshore installation manager (OIM) for an outstanding performance on his recent hitch.

Not only was July 4 a holiday, which presents its own challenges with scheduling flights to get offshore, but COVID-19 reared its ugly head on the platform. Within days, medevac flights were popping up to get affected individuals off the asset to safe, self-quarantine locations. Terry was the man who scheduled the flights and lined up hotels. His diligence ensured that employees on Olympus were taken care of in a secure and timely fashion

“I just wanted to let you know how proud I was of Terry Palmer this hitch. His performance under pressure during a difficult Fourth of July weekend is to be commended. I can’t say enough about what he brings to the Olympus team and logistics for the Gulf of Mexico. You have a valuable employee, and he cares deeply about how he represents himself and your company.” - Matt Horin, OIM, Olympus TLP

Great job, Terry, for your exemplary customer service and for representing Danos.
