Coatings Foreman's Forum

By: Clay Carter

Last week the Danos coatings division held its annual Foreman’s Forum. 17 coatings and relief foremen visited Danos headquarters to participate in fellowship, fun and feedback. The group also attended a happy hour on Wednesday evening that included pizza, beverages and conversation among management and field leaders, as well as food and beverage vendors. We developed relationships between the vendor sales reps and the foremen who are in the field completing the work while enjoying the refreshments.

Day two day kicked off a group discussion centered around areas we believe we can improve upon as we head into 2020. Manager-led discussions were well received, and the challenges and debates made everyone in the room think about ways to improve. Overall, it was a great experience for everyone involved, and the message and outlook for 2020 is that, although the state of our coatings division is strong, we can be stronger through effective communication and teamwork.

This man right here is a awesome person. I have worked with many project managers and operation managers in the past and Clay Carter by far leads the pack. Thank you first and foremost for you service to the greatest country in The world. But most of all thank you for being a true leader. It’s a pleasure working with danos and having you as our leader is a added bonus.
