Complete Control in North Louisiana

By: Lucas Comeaux

Back in February, Danos’ I&E division was awarded a control system fabrication project for a new natural gas facility in north Louisiana. The scope of work included fabrication of various PLC panels and a 24V DC power distribution rack

The new facility will provide the ability to sell natural gas liquids from the produced stream, improve the efficiency of the CO2 flood, and utilize extracted methane to power the plant and reduce field operating expenses. The project was recently completed on time and within budget.
