Consistent Safety Continues Within Coatings

By: The Pipeline

Coatings Foreman Andy Ho and his crew continue to set superior safety standards aboard Shell Olympus. BSEE recently administered a detailed inspection of each task of the paint process with nearly zero recommendations.

"Andy, Please extend my thanks and gratitude to the paint team for displaying positive safety behaviors throughout the paint process. The BSEE inspection went through a very detailed review of each task with minor recommendations. Your crew’s constant care for each other’s safety and consistency throughout the paint process, permit procedure, JSAs, housekeeping, etc. make up the ingredients for Goal Zero performance. Also a big thank you to Coatings Operations Manager Clay Carter, Coatings Safety Specialists Stephen Gros, and the Danos land-based leadership for fostering an environment where safety and caring for people results in positive behaviors being witnessed by someone outside of the organization. That means a lot! This does not make us armor proof, but it keeps us going in the right direction."
