Congratulations to IT Security Administrator Corey Stein for successfully passing the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam, earning his CISSP certification in October 2020.

One of the more esteemed cybersecurity certifications, the CISSP recognizes information security leaders who understand cybersecurity strategy as well as hands-on implementation. It is a demonstration of knowledge and experience in the design, development, and management of the overall security posture of the organization.

To earn the CISSP certification, individuals must possess five years of verifiable IT information security experience, have their qualifications endorsed by an existing certificate holder, and pass the exam covering eight domains of information security. Certifications must be renewed every three years in addition to completing continuing education courses and professional development activities.

Corey joined Danos in 2013 as a network administrator. Prior to joining Danos, Corey studied computer science at Nicholls State University and worked in information technology. His experience laid the foundation for his development and transition to the IT security administrator role in 2018, where he focuses on the protection of Danos' cybersecurity interests.

Congratulations, Corey!
