Do you continuously scroll past status updates from people that you barely know? Wouldn’t it be great to cut through the clutter and see updates from your real friends and family members? Well Facebook has this option, but you may not be aware of it.

Follow these simple steps to improve your Facebook experience today:

Start by clicking home

You will notice on the left, there is an section titled "Friends Lists". Go ahead and click it.

That will bring you to a place where you can create lists for your close friends, family, etc. Let's create a list

A window will appear that lets you add the people you want on that particular list

Once you add all the members you want to your list, click create. And just like that, you now have the option to see only information for those people within your newsfeed.

Want to create multiple lists? Simply follow the steps from the beginning to continue creating lists.
