Danos Coatings Crew Recognized

By: Kim Dang

Our Danos coatings crew, led by Foreman Merick Chambers, was recently recognized by SPLC Offshore Coatings Program Manager Jeffrey Brown for exceptional safety measures used while on a job following the holidays.

While setting up for blasting on SP 89, our Danos coatings crew began applying filter media to generators, one within six feet of a handrail over water. They ensured that all safety measures were taken and that the proper fall protection equipment was worn, including personal flotation devices (PFD).

"We would like to recognize and show our appreciation for the Danos Lead Foreman Merick Chambers for his contribution to Goal Zero 2019. His leadership and oversight of our corrosion mitigation 'touch-up' crew offshore in addition to working with the lead inspector and platform leadership has helped keep everyone safe and effective." - Jeffrey Brown, SPLC offshore coatings program manager

Thank you for promoting our Danos value of Safety in your everyday work!
