Danos Expands Presence in Marcellus/Utica

By: The Pipeline

In response to growing demand, Danos is opening a new facility in Martins Ferry, Ohio, just north of Wheeling, West Virginia. Located at 305 North 1st Street, the facility borders the Ohio River and includes 2,500 square-feet of office space and 6,000 square-feet of shop space.

Danos is consolidating its Canonsburg office into the new Martins Ferry facility in a single location convenient to customers in the Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania area. The company will also maintain its current location in Mansfield to provide production services to the region as well as in-house training for employees and clients.

“Danos has been operating in the area for over five years,” said Eric Danos, executive vice president of Danos. “We are excited to have a larger facility and build up a larger local presence and capacity so that we can continue to provide operational excellence to our customers.”

Along with production services, Danos’ Martins Ferry facility will provide 24/7 call-out services for automation, along with installations, maintenance, gas calibration, control system testing and installation and automation programming services, among others. The company’s newly patented solar-powered continuous chemical injection system will also be available to customers in the area.

This is Danos’ second major expansion of its automation services and a signal of the company’s commitment to the Utica/Marcellus area. Danos plans to add additional services in the future, including construction and coatings.
