Danos Gives

“No one has ever become poor by giving.” - Anne Frank

The Danos Foundation awarded $39,750 in grants this year to nine non-profit organizations serving the communities where we work and live. Several Danos employees participated in distributing grant checks to the grant recipients.

“I thought it was great and enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of the folks who received it. It’s always better to give than receive,” said Account Manager Bounty Fontenot about his experience at the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana check presentation. I agree with Bounty. It is one of the most rewarding things to give to others. One simple gesture can make a big impact on someone’s life.

How can you help make an impact? Employees can contribute to the Danos Foundation with either a one-time donation or continuous payroll deduction . Any size donation can make a difference. Another way you can make an impact is to spread the word about the Danos Foundation grant program to non-profit organizations in your area. The deadline for grant applications is August 31. Direct them to the foundation website for more information about the grant program.

Stay tuned to The Pipeline for updates from this year’s grant recipients on the impact they were able to make. If you would like more information on how to become a member of the foundation committee, please email foundation@danos.com with your areas of interest.
