Danos Partners with Shell to Benefit Local Organizations

Danos was the presenting sponsor at Shell’s 19th Annual HERO Giving Campaign Golf Tournament and Cook-off Competition on Friday, November 13.

The purpose of this event was to raise funds for local community organizations. With the ongoing COVID outbreak, Danos and Shell believe it is more important than ever to support our local charities. Those selected for 2020 are Boys Town Louisiana, Pontchartrain Conservancy, Second Harvest Food Bank, Susan G. Komen New Orleans and United Way of Southeast Louisiana.

This event provided an excellent opportunity for Danos to engage our Shell customers as well as other important stakeholders who participated in these events. Team Danos provided food, beverages and hospitality to the participants from the Danos hospitality tent adjacent to the first tee.

Team Danos was selected by the event participants as the winner of the cook-off competition. Chefs Scott Soto and Bubba Himel grilled our famous armadillo eggs for the enjoyment of the event participants.
