Danos Works Spotlight: Nicole Williams

By: The Pipeline

In 2018, Danos External Communication Lead Nicole Williams volunteered 30 hours with two organizations: the Cajun Heritage Festival and the Larose Civic Center. By logging her hours online through Danos WORKS, Nicole was able to donate $75 to each organization on behalf of the Danos Foundation.

The Cajun Heritage Festival is a free, annual celebration of the Cajun heritage of Lafourche Parish. It showcases a decoy show and live auction, plus carving demos, duck calling contests, Cajun food, vendors and raffles. To give back to her community, Nicole assisted the decoy judges with paperwork and filing, promoted the event and supported artists with carving displays, along with other tasks at the festival.

Through the Larose Civic Center, Nicole volunteered for the annual, three-day French Food Festival, where she served alligator sauce picquante and fried fish to visitors and tourists. Thank you, Nicole, for representing Danos and giving back to your community.
