For 2018, the progress of integrating employee development into the organization continues and is a key element to our efforts. We also remain focused on our customers’ challenges as we envision a transformational learning culture. The process of leveraging and improving current programs and tools is being combined with new, additional training content to be shared and delivered.
Two areas of concentration currently being worked include leadership and competency development. We are committed to investing in the leaders of Danos, as they are essential to the successful execution of work and setting the standard for operational excellence. Leadership development will be complementary to the other two strategic initiatives of Customer Centric and Permian Focus.
Training sessions for many of our team members in the area of project management have taken place over the past several weeks. Additionally, the coatings group held a Foreman’s Focus earlier this year. We also have internal subject matter experts working on a pilot program that will provide modules to facilitate career progression. This program is based on production services but will be foundational for how other service lines and workgroup modules will be built.
The emphasis on employee development will remain at the forefront of our strategic plan as is consistent with our company purpose to “Honor God. Develop great people to solve big challenges for our customers and communities.”
