On Thursday, July 30, Danos hosted a virtual Field Leadership Summit. Over 120 employees attended the live event. Led by General Manager of Production Mike Guidry and his team, the workshop featured presenters from different areas of the company.

Notably, Owner Eric Danos spoke to Danos’ purpose and values before announcing the Dwain “Hog” Carrell Field Employee of the Year winner – Logistics Coordinator Chris Pitts.

Other areas that were presented by Danos leaders were:

  • Human Resource Manager Brandi Caillouet talked about workplace conversations and the importance of respect when employees have opinions that differ from a coworker.
  • Safety Director Issac Dantin discussed how COVID-19 is affecting Danos and reminded everyone of proper precautions to follow.
  • Competency Assurance and Training Manger Mark Theriot presented on Danos’ value of customer service and discussed the skills required to implement effective customer service.
  • Production Operations Manager Brady Hebert covered incident reporting and the importance of following proper Danos procedures.

The event received positive feedback from attendees who found it very informative. Material Coordinator Melisha Craft-Fitzgerald said, “This is my first time attending the Leadership Summit, and I am blown away. We have great people doing great things! I am honored to be working among great colleagues.”
