Danos is looking for volunteers to assist with flood relief efforts in the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas. TEAM DANOS VOLUNTEER DAYS are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Oct. 8.

Working with the Samaritan's Purse organization, Danos employees, friends and family members will be helping families in the Greenwell Springs and Lafayette areas whose homes were damaged during the recent floods.

If you are interested in being a part of one or more TEAM DANOS VOLUNTEER DAYS, sign up on the poster in the headquarters’ Great Room or click here as soon as possible to let us know which location and what day and time you’re interested in, and if you are planning on bringing friends or family to help. Your answers will help us organize our team. As soon as we have a list of volunteers, we will send a confirmation email along with additional information.

Volunteers for the Thursday, Sept. 29 workday: there are a limited number of volunteer spots available, and you must have your manager’s approval to participate. Employees who participate in this volunteer day will receive their standard pay and will not be docked for time out of the office.

Volunteers for the Saturday, Oct. 8 workday: an unlimited number of volunteer spots are available. Danos will donate $30/hour for every hour worked by a Danos employee. Each Danos volunteer gets to choose from the following non-profit organizations to receive the $30/hour donation: Samaritan's Purse, Relay for Life or United Way.

In addition, Danos will match any employee disaster relief donation made to Samaritan’s Purse. Simply click here to donate and send renee.piper@danos.com an email to let us know about your donation so we can match it.
