Throughout his 20-year career with API (Danos' I&E service line) Rodney Girouardhas contributed in the field with control system installations and troubleshooting, in the shop with panel fabrication and function testing; and, since 2012, he has been running the Carencro Shipping and Receiving department. Rodney grew up north of Lafayette, LA and now lives in the swamps of Butte La Rose.  He enjoys fishing, bowling, and playing his guitar.  Rodney has one son, Zachary, who is a computer programmer and lives in Washington, D.C.

When reflecting on his 20-year employment with API, Rodney said, “My biggest memories would be training new employees and seeing them move up the ladder and also watching API grow into what it is today.”  Rodney says the transition to Danos has been a good one for all involved and he believes it will get even better over time.  “I have enjoyed working for API these last 20 years.  Through good times and bad times we hung in there.”
