Hess Project Win

By: Kevin Biringer

Danos was recently awarded the offshore hook-up and commissioning for the Hess Stampede platform located in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM). It is the largest offshore project to date for Hess in the GoM. The Danos team will have over 100 people involved spread between the engineering office in Houston, the fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas and offshore when the Platform sets sail in early 2017. Danos has already placed a small team on the project with execution continuing through late 2017.

The scope of the project will be very similar to Danos’ involvement in the Jack/St. Malo project. The project has the potential to involve all of Danos’ service lines at some point throughout the platform hook-up. Hess continues to show confidence in the Danos partnership as they’ve also engaged us for their upcoming 2017 turnaround work in Equatorial Guinea.

Well after all this down time hopefully this job gives us in the line of work a opportunity to pick up where we left off. Get back to making good hours and raising the bar for the company. This is awesome news because I'm sure you can ask 99.9% of us and we will all say the same thing "Thank God."
Congrats to our office personnel for landing this job and hopefully this means a better year in 2017 then we have been going through the past two years!

But most importantly this is a true example of prayer and the Lord showing you he's here and he's on our side. He will always provide. Maybe not the exact day and time you ask of him. But have patience and he will shine the light and provide.
