We had over 200 construction and coatings crew members working on this project. The JSM fields are located within 25 miles of each other and are being jointly developed with a host floating production unit (FPU) located between the two fields in 7,000 feet of water, about 280 miles south of New Orleans. The facility has a design capacity of 177,000 barrels of oil-equivalent per day and is roughly the height of a 30-story building with the dimensions of a football field. With a planned production life of more than 30 years, current technologies are anticipated to recover in excess of 500 million oil-equivalent barrels.
