Olympus completed an annual BSEE Inspection on March 9, 2018. During the inspection, 147 components were inspected with zero INCS issued. The inspectors were complimentary of several aspects of the way Olympus runs their daily operations and were particularly impressed of the following areas below:

  • Overall cleanliness of the platform
  • Positive attitudes from all the technicians and operators they interacted with during the inspection
  • The way Olympus manages work activities utilizing the SIMOPS board in the ICS room
  • The job site walkthrough and permit / JSA of the Danos paint crew
  • The professionalism of the SPLC meter technicians during the LACT meter proving

Inspection included:

  • Fire & Gas detection test records
  • Tested Level & Pressure Safety Devices
  • Topside & S.S. ESD function test
  • Casing Departures on all wells
  • WIT’s on all DVA wells
  • USV & SCSSV test S.S.
  • SCSSV Data Sheets for all wells
  • Witnessed SPLC perform LACT meter proving
  • S.S. BSDV hold test
  • Job site visit

Matt Schexnayder

Senior International Account Manager Matt began his career at Danos in 2012 as a personnel coordinator. Shortly after coming onboard, he took an overseas assignment in West Africa to manage the account for Noble Energy. He currently works stateside where he oversees international work as well as managing the BHP account.  Matt has a masters from Southeastern Louisiana University in health & kinesiology with concentration sports management.
