BHP Shenzi has completed another semi-annual Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement inspection without a single incident of non-compliance reported
out of the 248 components tested.
During the close-out meeting, the four inspectors volunteered high praise for the team and the facility. They used very complimentary statements such as “leader of the gulf” and “sets the standard for others”. They also alluded to the reputation that Shenzi has and remarked that they compete to come to the facility for inspections.
Not only did our Danos employees on Shenzi play an important role in accomplishing this goal, but the information gathered may be beneficial to others within our organization in preparation for their next BSEE inspection.
