10-May-2018

By: Jack Roszelle

April showers bring May flowers, along with our annual ISO Quality Management System (QMS) audit by our registrar, ABS Quality Evaluations who is headquartered in Houston, TX.

During the past year, our QMS has been transitioning from the ISO 9001:2008 International Standard to the newer version which is ISO 9001:2015. Although they are both titled ISO 9001 the 2015 version is slightly different in the fact that it focuses more on the items listed below:

  • Customer Focus
  • Leadership Engagement
  • Employee Engagement
  • Performance Evaluation
  • Process Approach
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Risk Based Thinking
  • Evidence-Based Decision Making

The auditors will visit the Amelia Integrated Services Complex May 14 and May 15 then corporate headquarters May 16-18.

Danos' policies and procedures can be found within our Quality Management System manual located on the Danos Intranet and the Quality SharePoint site. Please ensure that you can access our policies and procedures on one of these sites.
