Johnnie Phillips Retires

By: Rene Vidrine

Johnnie Phillips, AKA “Mr. P,” was one of the first employees Danos hired in the Permian Basin in 2012. After starting his career with Chevron, Johnnie left the oilfield to pursue other avenues of work. We hired him in 2012 to work on the OXY Account as a lease operator, and he has been one of our Danos Ambassadors ever since.

Mr. P always had a knack for making everyone feel welcomed, and his positive attitude towards everything that he did was contagious throughout his work groups. Our customers and his fellow coworkers loved being around him, as he was always positive, and knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face.

It was a pleasure to work with Johnnie over the past 6 years, and he will be missed by all. Congratulations on your retirement. We hope you enjoy many University of Texas sporting events and your golf clubs never rust!
