Chevron’s Bigfoot TLP in Ingleside, Texas is preparing for sail-away in early 2018 and realized mid-October they needed a mechanical survey of all piping systems on the platform. Danos was able to quickly respond with resources from Project Management, Construction and Production Services to assist Chevron with this critical activity.

Project Highlights

  • Fifteen Danos personnel included within the crew of 30
  • Danos team alone worked 9,000 man hours over an eight-week period
  • Walked down 535 packages covering 135 systems
  • Packages encompassed over 28,300 supports on 4,146 lines
  • Entire scope completed incident and injury-free

Jay Bourgeois

Jay joined Danos in 2011 as a fitter/ welder and became a superintendent not long after. He has since then excelled in multiple roles including project coordinator, project planner, and construction manager. Currently, he is the construction representative in the Project Management Division on the Bigfoot TLP project.
