March Madness: Sweet 16

By: Kevin Biringer

Put your driving skills to the test. Over the next 12 weeks, Danos shale drivers will compete head-to-head in a bracket-style tournament.

Rules are as follows:

  • Teams are grouped by region and by assigned customer. Some of the larger accounts (OXY, Sanchez, etc.) are split into 2 teams.
  • Each round will last two weeks. Dates are listed on top of the bracket below.
  • The team with the highest average score at the end of the two weeks will advance to next round:
    • 50% - GPS Driving Data (speeding, hard stops, hard accelerations)
    • 25% - Driving BBS (watch cards, vehicle inspection reports, SWA)
    • 25% - Incidents (accident, call from bystander, etc)
What's at stake:

Bragging rights! Besides that, the winning team will have a catered barbeque where prizes will be raffled, such as Academy gift cards, YETI coolers and other Danos swag. If your team gets eliminated, there is still a way to play! The top individual driver from each customer team at the end will be entered into a raffle for other prizes. Drive safe!
