Permian Expansion

By: Kevin Biringer

The Permian Expansion 2019 initiative is ensuring we are equipped with facilities, service lines and people to capitalize on the growth in the Permian Basin. The Delaware Basin, the western region of the Permian Basin stretching from Carlsbad, NM, to Fort Stockton, TX, is the most active region in the country for oil and gas activity.

The image above shows all the active drill rigs in the Permian basin as of February 15, 2019 – 475 in total.

Below are the 3 main projects that make up Permian Expansion:

Delaware Expansion:
With the Delaware Basin being the most active region of the Permian, we are setting up a Danos facility and local recruiting in the area to be well positioned for upcoming activity.

Production Services Growth: Qualified skilled labor is seen as one of the main bottlenecks for E&P companies in 2019 in the Permian. This initiative is identifying the customers and skilled positions that Danos is best positioned to provide.

Recruiting & Retention Strategy: We are finalizing a survey that will be sent to current and prospective employees in the Permian Basin to gather data to help design our recruiting strategy and messaging.
