Summer Interns

By: Stephen Donovan

So far, our eight interns have had the opportunity to gain experience in their field of study while learning about the oil and gas industry.

During the first 3 weeks of their 8-week internship, they have learned a lot while having loads of fun. Here is a recap of their time with Danos so far:

Family Feud: Interns vs. Mentors

The interns and their mentors faced-off in a game of Family Feud hosted by Brittany St. Pierre and Kayla Ledet in the Great Room at Danos Headquarters Tuesday, June 19, and Thursday, June 21.

Amelia Trip

On Thursday, June 28, the interns took a guided tour of the Amelia Integrated Services Complex led by Intern Program Sponsor John Bigler and Operations Manager Eric Hood.

Breaking the Code

As part of the interns Team Tuesday, intern program directors Brittney St. Pierre and Kayla Ledet took the interns on a team building trip to Breaking the Code in Houma, Louisiana. With only 60 minutes to escape, the interns worked together using their logic, instinct, and critical thinking to find secret passages, solve puzzles, crack codes, and uncover hidden mysteries at an attempt to escape. Unfortunately they were not able to escape the room, but had a great time working as a team.
