Surplus Supplies Go to Samaritan's Purse

Danos recently donated the remaining surplus equipment and supplies and metal shipping container from the Houston Harvey response to Samaritan's Purse. Shell originally purchased the material and requested the donation.

 

Cathy Njoya of Samaritan's Purse said, “We are so grateful for this equipment. It will be put to good use repairing homes and restoring hope in the hearts of families that have lost everything. This is a huge blessing."

In September and October of 2016, sixteen Danos employees had the privilege of working with Samaritan’s Purse to help residents in the flooded areas of Lafayette and Greenwell Springs to get their homes “contractor ready” and start the rebuilding process. Jay currently serves as asset manager. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from Nicholls State University and has held many positions within Danos since joining in May of 2007.
