Danos’ Safety Program has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Center for Offshore Safety’s (COS) Safety Leadership Award. As one of three finalists in the contractor category, Danos will present at this year’s virtual COS Forum on November 11, 2020. The COS Forum attendees will vote after the presentations to assist in selecting the winner of the award.

The award recognizes outstanding contributions in 2019/2020 by a contractor to the development and sharing of good safety management practices for the U.S. offshore oil and gas industry. Congratulations to the entire Danos team for making Danos a safe place to work!

The mission of the COS is to promote the highest level of safety for the U.S. offshore oil and natural gas industry through effective leadership, communication, teamwork, utilization of disciplined management systems and independent, third-party auditing and certification. The COS Safety Leadership Award Program intends to encourage and reward outstanding contributions to improving safety management and performance through leadership, communication and teamwork by U.S. offshore oil and gas industry participants.
