2017 Staff Employee of the Year

The process to select our 2017 Staff Employee of the Year will soon begin. For those of you who are new to the company, you should know that one staff person each year is selected as the Staff Employee of the Year. The 2017 winner will be the 24th person chosen for this award.

The 2016 Employee of the Year was Scott Theriot, Operations Manager - Materials Management. Each winner was nominated by at least one of their fellow staff associates and finally chosen by a selection committee. The members of the final selection committee are Hank Danos, Eric Danos, Paul Danos, Mark Danos and Tommy Mayet, a retired Danos employee and former award winner.

All staff employees are encouraged to nominate their fellow staff employees. The nomination form includes the following questions:

  1. How has the person you are nominating lived the following company Values - Integrity, Safety, Improvement, Respect, and Service?
  2. How has the person you are nominating demonstrated the following High Performance Culture Traits - Open to Change, Participates in Coaching, Passionate about Winning, Bias to Action, Willing to Challenge and Debate, and Empowers Teamwork?
  3. What is the WOW factor or the compelling reason for the nomination?

Nomination forms for the 2017 Staff Employee of the Year will be opening up in early January, 2018.
