2018 Benefit Open Enrollment

Our annual open enrollment for benefits began on Monday, November 13. Any enrollments or changes will have an effective date of January 1, 2018. Open enrollment gives you the opportunity to make changes (elect coverage, add a dependent, or cancel coverage) to your medical, dental, and vision insurance without experiencing a qualifying event.

Please note that long-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance can be cancelled at any time. Employees that do not currently have disability benefits can apply any time as a late enrollee by answering a medical questionnaire. If you are currently enrolled but wish to enroll in additional life insurance, a medical questionnaire will be required.

Some changes have been made to the benefits that Danos offers. Please go to the “Current News” tab of the Danos employee intranet and look for the message titled, “2018 Benefit Open Enrollment" to see the changes. You should soon be receiving a benefits guide in the mail.

Unless you are making a change to your current coverage, enrolling in additional life insurance coverage, or enrolling/re-enrolling in flexible spending, no action is required by an employee. Current status will roll over “as is” with new premiums unless we hear from you by the open enrollment deadline of December 11, 2018.
