A Good Catch by Chris Tyrney

By: Troy Gisclair

Danos Shipping Clerk Chris Tyrney was recently recognized by Chevron Shorebase Coordinator Kristian Armstrong for his bias to action and willingness to challenge and debate. Read what Kristian had to say below:

“I wanted to recognize Chris Tyrney for doing a great job of being thorough with his job duties. He is always doing a great job, and today he had a very good catch on some equipment. A production platform sent in a radiator to the shorebase, and the paperwork instructed to dispose of it as scrap.

Chris inspected the radiator and noticed some of the equipment was in really good shape, so he decided to follow up with the platform. After discussing it with the coordinator, they found that radiator was a rental item, and actually, it was supposed to be returned to a vendor.

Chris did a really great job of not accepting something at face value and performing due diligence with a routine task.”

Kristian also expressed his appreciation for Senior Account Manager Troy Gisclair saying, “Thanks to you also, Troy, for doing a great job supporting our Danos team down here in Fourchon.”

Thank you Chris and Troy for showing our customers the Danos difference.
