Fabrication FastStart

By: Paul Robichaux

In October, the Larose fabrication team hosted a visit from two representatives from LED FastStart.  Faststart has been working with members of the Danos team for some time assisting with recruiting, training, marketing and other departments.  On this visit, FastStart is working with Clint Worley, Danos fabrication superintendent, to develop a quick reference job aid for welders and fitters in the fabrication shop.  The objectives of the job aid will be, to familiarize welders with the fabrication process flow, welding procedure requirements, corrective action for troubleshooting common problems and preventing quality issues.

Pictured above, Clint Worley walks through the shop to describe the fabrication process to Mark Bond & Frank Faucheux.

Below is a quick snapshot of work being performed in the Larose yard.
