After 25 years of service to Danos, Production Operator Larry Tillman retired this week. Larry began his career with Danos working on Chevron's South Timbalier 27 and continued to work on various assets until he eventually ended up on Chevron's South Timbalier 151 deep field, which was later acquired by Arena.

While he is looking forward to his retirement, Larry says he will miss his offshore coworkers, who are family to him, as well as learning and teaching new operators what he has learned over the years. With his new free time, Larry says he is "planning on doing some traveling, including a big vacation to San Diego next year."

Larry has been happily married to his high school sweetheart Linda for 42 years. They have two sons, ages 41 and 28.

Larry's presence and work ethic will be missed by many, evident in the kind words from his coworkers below:

"Mr. Tillman was energetic, happy go lucky and always smiling. He was a team player and played a vital role in our day to day operations. He loved to coach and teach the newer operators. He never complained about anything whatsoever! NEVER. He will be missed in ST-Deep!" former Danos employee and Arena Field Foreman Carl Naquin

"It has been a blessing to have Larry Tillman on the Arena team the past four years. Larry has been a stellar employee by demonstrating his compassion to mentor the younger guys. The contagious smile he carried at all times was a great boost for moral. He will be truly missed. I pray his health and agility maintains and that he enjoys his retirement." Production Foreman Wayne Maturin, Arena Offshore

"Larry has been a great employee and friend to work with, always teaching and always smiling. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him for sure! Congrats on your retirement Mr. Larry, and God bless. You deserve it!" Senior Account Manager Bounty Fontenot
